The next most popular game after Texas Holdem Poker, is Omaha Holdem Poker. It is a community card poker game in which each player is dealt four cards and must make his best hand using exactly two of them, plus exactly three of five community cards. Famous Omaha holdem versions are Omaha Low, Omaha High and Omaha High-Low. However, Omaha High-Low is the most popular version of this game.
Omaha Holdem is a Texas Holdem variation, but contains more possible outcomes, thereby making for some very competitive and exciting games! An Omaha holdem poker game starts by giving each player four "down" cards. Players MUST use two of their four "down" cards along with three "up" cards (community cards) on the board to form a hand. Upon the completion of betting, the best hand wins the pot. (The pot may also be won by someone betting and no one calling prior to the completion of the hand.)

Omaha Low is a popular Omaha version and is considered a light game. It is mostly played by beginners and those who want to play for fun. Pot is won by the player who has the best low hand i.e. a “wheel”, ace-two-three-four-five. Usually, these games are filled with players who are playing far too loose because everyone thinks that their two-pair is a great hand. The best strategy is to play hands that do well in multi-way pots and bet hard when you have the nuts. At the low-limit Omaha Hold'em games, there is easy money if you have the patience.
