We all are well aware of growing population and blooming competitions. It not only threatens us but also informs us the need of being capable and more efficient. Irrespective of the field in which you are, you have to really tune yourself to express things in an acceptable and adorable way.
You might have come across this phrase: Winners don’t do different things but they do things differently. This is the real secret of winning the game. After all, life is a sort of game where all are forced to play. You won't taste the essence of success if you don’t put your effort effectively.
You can’t master any skills without practice. This rule applies to presentation skill as well. I still remember how nervous and sweaty I was at my first presentation. It took lots of effort to conceal my adrenaline in front of audience.
Knowledge, confidence, an idea about audience expectation and their knowledge are essential before compiling your presentation. In this modern era, we cannot afford to learn from our own mistakes. Let other’s blunders be your master and guide.
Pictures have more power than words. Use illustrative or relevant pictures. Flow charts make life easier both for audience and for the candidate. Check your word format, spelling mistakes. Its better to use plain background. Time your presentation and always go to the spot well ahead. Sometimes machines, electricity make you mad and spoil your mood.
Put yourself in audience seat and think whether your contents are up to the level of expectation. Practise yourself with your colleagues or in front of mirror to overcome your shyness and shivers. Deliver your message clearly and admit if you don’t know answer for any particular question. It will be awful if you keep maintaining silence for almost all questions.
Don’t forget, you always have helping hands around. Just you have to let us know you are in need of help. All are good in God’s creation. Believe it and you will get what you believe.
Good Luck !
