Death of Antibiotics & Introduction of Micro molecules in Modern Medicine-How Homoeopathy is Influencing it?
Antibiotics do kill or inhibit the growth of susceptible bacteria but some surviving bugs develop the ability to neutralize their effect. Bacteria also acquire resistance through mutation of their genes or transfer the DNA codes from brother bugs, a process that can be explained as nature's defense mechanism.
More than trillion different types of these single-celled organisms are found in drinking water & food alone. While humans have five generations a century, bacteria have up to 1,00,000 generations a year. Once these germs enter our body the immune system produces WBCs to fight these microscopic invaders. The subsequent fever & weakness are symptoms of a budding infection. While most bacterial infections get better by themselves but in severe cases bacteria killing drugs: Antibiotics are often required.
Today there are hundreds of Antibiotics in use, Most are tailored to treat a specific kind of bacterial infection, Studies have now proved that the more humans use antibiotics, the more often resistant strains of bacteria are produced. While some kinds of these drugs attack bacterial cell walls (like penicillin & cephalosporin), others interfere with DNA replication (rifampicin) and protein synthesis (streptomycin & tetracycline). While providing relief from symptoms like fever, inflammation & phlegm production, they inhibit WBC activity and thereby lower the body's natural immune response.
Their overuse in medicine, agriculture & livestock over the past 60 years has created a dangerous new category of drug resistant bacteria of "Super Bugs" that have evolved biochemical drug resistance mechanisms.
As per a reported study at the University of Ulster, U.K., ALL ANTIBIOTICS WILL BE USELESS BY 2015!
It is reported that simple cuts will become fatal & surgery may become impossible. "ross over prescribing by doctors and in the last 60 years has been blamed for this" It is catastrophic. It is not just with resistance to one antibiotic, but multi-drug resistance!

Earlier the molecular biology, pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, the molecule metabolites, interactions & side effects were major concerns of drug research. The intermediate metabolites are still occupying research brains. However a major shift is apparent. After understanding genomes, DNA, RNA transcription or gene-expression better, the abnormality causes (which are ultra microscopic) are being isolated. Their correction requires minute changes in the legend at appropriate level of spiral genetic molecule.
The whole process is individualistic. It will not be wrong if a statement is made that future medicaments correcting the error will be minute & stubble. Worldwide scientists are being converging to the Homoeopathic philosophy & concept of cure but sadly without acknowledgement. Situation demands that Homoeopaths should run with them or else there is a higher risk of getting lost.
