As the sun rises in the morning, and the fresh dew
glistens in the sunlight I think of you.
The sun, like you, sends down rays of warmth and love.
From you I will never depart - my heart and soul
flow with love and as the young birds chirp in their nests,
I watch you gently sleep.
Silently I profess my love to you.
I enjoy the stillness and the calm.
I smile silently as I quietly reflect that I've been sent an angel;a sweet angel to love and protect.
You bring me stillness and peace even while you sleep.
As you quietly sleep away I vow to myself to always love and protect you until the day that I die.
