1.DO NOTHING
At least once during the day,take five or ten mins to sit quietly and do nothing.Focus on the sounds around u,ur emotions and any tension in ur neck,shoulders,arms etc.
2.LAUGH OUT LOUD
Keep something handy that makes u laugh.It could be a collection of ur favourite comic strips,or a funny e-mail.
U could even take a few moments to think about watching ur favourite comedy serial.
3.TUNE IN
When u face a very tense moment,play soothing music- be it classical or jazz.
4.THINK HAPPY
FOcus on something or something u care deeply about for anywhere from 15 secs to 5 mins. or picture a peaceful scene from a peaceful vaccation. A phrase that makes u feel positive about urself and the world can also work.
think of the people and things u love.
5.BREATHE EASY
For 5 minutes,slow ur breathing down to about six deep belly breathes a minute. In other words, inhale for about five secs, exale for about 5.
