There's the constant stream of chatter that goes on in your head called “Self Talk’.
Notice what you say to yourself and how you say it.
Do you constantly criticize yourself inside your head? Or do you constantly complain and criticize others? Or complain about your life, your fate, your faults, or how life 'treats' you? Or internally rant about the injustices of life?
Do you constantly talk inside your head about your negativities and chronic issues?
Do you constantly tell yourself you’re at your wits end? Or, that you can't cope with this much longer? Or, that you'll fail at something? Or, that you're going to have a panic attack?
Negative self-talk is very harmful, pernicious and demoralizing and debilitating. One negative topic/thought leads to another and another and another. And you get so used to doing it and responding to it that you don't consciously pay attention to it. You are, in effect, continuously giving yourself very powerful Hypnotic Auto Suggestions to feel bad, which sinks into your subconscious mind. And in effect, you always feel bad.
So, imagine what might happen, if you just replace your negative auto suggestions that you give yourself on a daily basis in a way of self talk?
You will begin creating new situations and circumstances.
If you consciously choose the thoughts, phrases and words that you repeat in your mind, your life will start to change.
Sentences, phrases and words that are repeated often during the day, and which sink into the subconscious mind, generally called Affirmations.
Affirmations have to be said with attention, visualization of end result and with feeling, in order to trigger the subconscious mind into action.
Affirmations have to be phrased in positive words in order to be effective. Consider the following two sentences:
1. I am not happy anymore.
2. Day by day I am becoming happier and more satisfied.
Though both sentences seem to say the same thing in different words, the first one is a negative sentence. It creates in the mind a mental image of unhappiness. This is a wrong wording. The second is a positive sentence it awakens in the mind a mental image of Happiness.
Instead of repeating negative and useless words and phrases in the mind, choose positive words and phrases to help you build the life you want.
Replace your negative self talk with positive affirmations, and within few days you will get amazing result. TRY.
Be Happy,
