Mr. Ashok and Mrs. Alka Warnekar were not the ordinary kind of couple. Though they were earning a good income at Mumbai they were not satisfied what they were doing. They had other ideas. They once saw an Advertisement given by Swamy Vivekanand Kendra to work at Itanagar for their school. They immediately applied and got selected and posted in the School. They worked there for 3 years and decided to start a school to impart the practicle training to the students which can be useful for their life. They rented a premise and started the school When every thing was going well the rented premises they had to abondon since landlord wanted to give it for more profitable ventures. The couple though was in trouble but their determination was quite rock solid. They collected whatever amount they have saved and decided to buy a piece of land nearby where they can fulfill the dream of educating the children. They purchase a 1 acre of land in Parbatipur village. They had two aspiring children. This is case of 1988. They constructed a make shift house for them and school for the children. Their children used to go to middle school in Itanagar some 10 kms from the village.
Today in 2009 the school has 150 students up to class 4 and teachers are those who studided in the school. A glaze of satisfaction of dream is writ large on their faces. His one daughter is in Airforce as Pilot and his son is an engineer.
They are still persuing their cause with the same vigour and enthusiasm.
