Sometimes I wonder what is the reason which changes one’s fate over-night. Sometimes it turns him from ‘Rags to Riches’ and sometimes vice-versa too. No doubt it’s one’s fate that does all these wonders, but the question is; what drives one’s fate?
So far as first situation is concerned, it is undoubtedly driven by one’s Honesty, Good Deeds, and Unalterable Faith in God. It is very well said that :-
“Khuda Kisi Ki Kabhi Ansuni Nahin Karta,
Kaho Jo Dil Se Har Ek Baat Maan Leta Hai.”
I have observed and experienced myself that it is absolutely truth. Provided you have not prayed for something, which is detrimental for someone else.
It does not take a minute for us to look upwards and ask HIM ‘Why Me’, whenever anything unpleasant or untoward happens with us. But, how many of us ever ask ‘Why Me’ to HIM after wining a jackpot or getting a job or being blessed with a son?
And perhaps this is the reason that brings the second situation of ‘Sudden Deprivation’. Perhaps HE too carries a bit of ‘Human Weakness’ and hence expects THANKS in any form from us which we fail to extend, by taking him for granted. And the count of these ‘PENDING THANKS’ keep adding with every favour he extends to us and then a day comes when HE gets fed up with our ‘Unilateral’ behaviour and shows us HIS real power.
It can be understood with a very simple example – we have an invisible ‘Limited Capacity Bag’ on our shoulder which we keep on filling with the ‘Better Things of Life’ which GOD blesses us with. However, since the Bag has a limited capacity only and has no Elastic property, a stage comes when it gets filled-up to the Brim. And, then comes the time of our real test. The Almighty expects us to be generous now and start distributing the ‘Happiness’ among others as our Bag cannot hold anymore. However, our ‘Basic Greedy Instinct’ stops us from doing it and with the result of which, the Bag tears-off and all our ‘Happiness’ goes down the drain overnight.
This is what I have understood from my life. There is a limit of everything in the world and so is of ‘Happiness’ and ‘Possessions’ too. As we cannot enjoy ‘Family Celebrations’ alone, we should not think of ‘Confining Happiness’ up to ourselves only or else we would meet the second situation one day – UNDOUBTEDLY.
So be generous with your happiness and possessions by learning from the ocean:-
“Mein Qatra Qatra Apni Jagah Bunt Gaya Toh Kya,
Gehrey Samundaron Ki Magar Hoon Anah Liye.”
