Have we ever thought as who is the biggest recipient of all times so far as receiving ‘Loathing’, ‘Criticism’, ‘Abuse’ or ‘Complaints’ are concerned?
Is it ‘Indian Daughter-in-Law’ or ‘Mother-in-Law’? No!
Is it corrupt ‘Politician’? No!!
Is it fraudulent ‘Bureaucrat’? No!!!
Then who is it after all?
It is ‘Almighty GOD’, who we all worship in public but dare and blame HIM in privacy at a drop of a hat for selfish motives and our own follies.
Yes, I am entirely correct in emphatically saying that we do not criticize or insult anybody more than we defame ‘HIM’. Because, although he is said to be present everywhere, he is not in front of us in person to take instant revenge for outraging his respect. We are all taking ‘HIM’ as the most convenient ‘Trash Can’ to redirect all our anger and disappointment as ‘HE’ is not their in ‘Flesh & Blood’ to defend his stand.
None of us thinks twice before declaring ourselves a ‘Non-Believer’ amidst a bunch of P3Ps in order to get the tag of a ‘Modernite’. But it’s a different story that the same person could be seen clad in a white Kurta Pyjama with a big ‘Tilak’ on his forehead the very next morning in one of the biggest and VIP temples of the town – holding Arti’s Thal.
And, inspite of all this, we, shamelessly claim ourselves to be the ‘People with Religious Heart’. We cannot dare ask our grown up kid to stop burning our hard-earned money in front of our eyes, but it doesn’t take a minute for us to abuse the ‘Almighty’ for the loss of even a ‘penny’. Because, ‘HE’ is not around to reply you back.
What kind of religion we are pursuing then? No! we are not pursuing religion but pursuing Hypocrisy.
It did not take a minute for us to direct our head towards sky and ask HIM ‘Why Me’, whenever anything unpleasant or untoward happens. But how many of us have ever asked HIM after wining a jackpot or getting a job or being blessed with a son ‘Why Me’?
We have always wish HIM to be like our Gini, who should be under our command, following orders without asking questions.
HE has given us enough but at times we forget that:-
“MERE ALLAH KO EK SAJDA HI KAFI HAI AUR DOORI SE,
DAR-E-INSAAN PE SAU SAU BAAR DASTAK DENI PADTI HAI.”
We have only learnt to TAKE, but now its time to PAYBACK in order to do atleast something good for our religion and society as well.
Shall we start it now?
