However, the astrological reasons for occurence of Earthquake are following:

Earthqukes do occur very shortly just after the eclipse. It was very much predictive when a single month of March witnessed two eclipses on March 2 and 19 . The solar eclipse coincided with New Year 2064 coupled with Navratra and Amavasya which is never considered auspicious in asto-jargon.The Jayeshtha month will also be excessive [Adhik Maas or Purshottam maas] from May 15 to June15 which is also not conducive to good events. The conjunction of Rahu and Mars is an additional reason for earthquake.

Warning : The earthquake and Tsunami like situation may strike repeatedly till May 7 in the North-Western side of India besides other parts of Globe which are tremor prone.Proper arrangements must be made in coastal areas. Though neither Scientists nor Astrologers at present shall be able to pinpoint the particular region however, the above area must remain careful till May.
