Zindagi jite jite thak chuke hain,
Gam ko pite pite thak chuke hain,
Rahon mein kaanton ke siva kuch mila hi nahi,
Khushi mili bhi chand lamhon ke liye rahi,
Ab sochte hain ke kyun yeh dard sahein,
Abh sochte hain hain ke kyun chup rahein,
Sooni rahon jab tanha hi chalna hai,
To kisi apne ke intezar mein kyun rahein.
