Phoolon say achi uski khushboo,
Kaliyon say pyari muskaan,
Sitaaron sa chamakta hua chehra,
Koyal say meethi zabaan.

Chaand bhi chupp jaye yeh keh kay,
Aasmaan pay ab kya mera kaam,
Chaandni to aa nikli zameen say,
Kaisi hai yeh qudrat ki shaan,
Fursat say banaya hoga rub nay,
Farishton ka nahi yeh kaam.

Mitti say banay hain hum sab,
Us main sone ko milaya hoga,
Hooron nay bhi hasrat say dekha hoga,
Pariyon say sunder yeh insaan,
Alfaaz bhi kum padtay hain kahne ko,
Aisi hai meri jaan.
