Tum kinara ho khyalon ki lehron ka,
Tum intezaar ho har subah ki kirno ka,
Tum bahaar ho gulshan kay phoolon ka,
Tum hasee ho har khilti hui kaliyon ka,
Tum namee ho har chaudhween ki shabon ka,
Tum pari ho har aashiqon kay khwabon ka,
Tum sahara ho dharkano say seenay ka,
Tum bahana ho bin aarzoo bhi jeenay ka,
Tum izhaar ho ek shayar ki tasvir ka
Tum misaal ho husn-e-huroon ka.
