Nazar Lag Gayi Mohabbat Ko Zamaane Ki

Apni bhi thi aarzoo dil lagaane ki,
Chahtaa tha koi aaye banke sharaab maikhaane ki,
Tune bhi koshish ki thi ishq bagiya ko mehkaane ki,
Maanta hoon main, ki apni kismat hi thi kharaab,
Jo nazar lag gayi is mohabaat ko zamaane ki.

Hoti thi logo ke zabaan pe charche apne aphshaane ki,
Tune bhi sanam khai thi kasmein sitam dhaane ki,
Kabhi ruthne kabhi manaane ki par apni kismat,
Hi thi kharaab jo nazar lag gayi zamaane ki.

Hum dekhte hi reh gaye aur kya se kya ho gaya,
Jis pe thi innaayat wahi bewfaa ho gayaa,
Zamaane ki ab kise hai parwaah,
Jab mohabbat karne wala hi juda ho gaya.

Ab bhi hum yehi kahenge na thi galti teri ,na thi meri,
Apni kismat hi thi kharaab jo,
Yeh mohabbat bewafaa ho gayi.
