rhimjhim-rhimjhim saavan aaya
tip-tip-tip-tip barsaat ka paani laaya
jor jor se hawayein chalti
barkha baadal bijali kadki
ik pal mein yeh zindagi fadki
mera mann bhi khushi se gaya
tak dhin tak dhin saavan aaya
safed dhoop par badaal ab chahya
dhoop-chaanv ka mousam laaya
tufaani aandhi sa dil ye gaaya
kali kali ab tutati girti
daal-daal tutne se ladti
patte-poudhe ped sab bhigte
tote bolte to koyal kookte
fhir ek tooti footi khidki boli
prakruti ki rosh mein kitni ti doli
raaste mein ek ped murjhaya
saavan ki aandhi se kitna takraya
megh-megh upar takraaye
gaanv-shahar paani barsaye
jeevan ka har pal hai jeena
saavan ki meethi saans hai lena
fir kya hua
tan-mann mera hasta khilta
bhaag-khet mein jaa yeh milta
rom-rom mera muskaye
saavan ke naye geet ab gaaye
saavan ka ye pyaara mahina
jeevan ka har ek rang naghina
