Kehkashan muskurati ye keh gayi hame dastan,
jise humne suna tha muskurake.
Keh to woh bahot rahi thi hum ne na suna,
jo hum ne suna wo kisi ne na jana.
Haste tarane the gham ke fasnae the,
kehna tha usko kuch humne kuch aur suna.
Hum jite hai is tarha koi mane ya na mane,
jiyenge is tarha na aane denge kisi ki ankhon mein nami.
