अश्क कितने भी बहाऊँ,
उन्हें फर्क नहीं पड़ता
सबूत बेगुनाही के कितने भी दूँ,
उन्हें फर्क नहीं पड़ता
पैरोकार कितने भी लाऊं,
उन्हें फर्क नहीं पड़ता
हमदर्द कितने भी मिलाऊं,
उन्हें फर्क नहीं पड़ता
अन्तरंग पलों को याद कराऊँ,
उन्हें फर्क नहीं पड़ता
वे हो गए है पत्थर,
"निरंतर"कितना भी सहलाऊँ,
उन्हें फर्क नहीं पड़ता
