Ye bhaav jo vibhore hai, kritghyta bhare ehsaas,
Sirf gulabo ke madhur sparsh, rango ki wajah nahi,
Aapki bhavnao, prernao ki wajah se hai.

Ye to madhur sangam hai shradha aur saumyta ka,
Saralta aur sarasta ka,
Bhavnao aur abhivyaktiyo ka,
Rango aur rasmo ka.

Aapka ye samipya, ye sadgi, ye apnapan,
Bhulane se bhi na bhulega apka ye sang,
Aur ye phool jo murjha jayenge kal,
Phir bhi rakhe hai maine sambhal kar,sahej kar,
Denge yeh mujhe nai shakti,
Har pal, har dam, har shann.

Bewitching eyes to waken a saint from a trance
wielded at will to control a man;
behold the eyes that pierce through
the strongest of minds - imagine one can.
Strong enough to cause a missing beat
of the heart so calm and brave;
behold the eyes that can cause a flutter
of even inside the realms of the grave.
Language of the sight so subtly expressed
yet easily understood by any;

While I take a walk
I hear the cry of the dry leaf
Getting crushed underneath my shoe
While I look up
I find the green leaves
Greeting me with a breezy nod
It’s a pleasant mystery
That I find
The beauty of the little flower
The careless attitude
Of those strong branches
The sneaked in strangers
Exchanging weird glances
And known ones
Whispering with eyes sparkling
I sit on the grass
With legs and hands stretched
I hear the grass say
Don’t hurt us for long
And when I get up
I did realize
That they really meant
Voiceless yet expressive
The life in them
Their zestful colour
Touched the gentle nerve in me
