PRESENTPosted by : Sumeet on 24-Feb-2006 Total Views : 312 Present so ruefully drowned
By the past taking precedence;
The beauty of today to behold
Lost by thoughts of future – making no sense
The present so ever-encompassing
To be felt and touched by the soul;
Cos today is the day you live for
To lead a life more whole
The present so heavenly felt
If lived one day at a time;
Dreading not past or future
To enjoy life at it’s prime
Present is bliss- present is today
To be embraced with gay abandon;
To live in the present – today
Bringing you close to GOD’s kingdom

A Golden GlobePosted by : Komal on 24-Sep-2005 Total Views : 246 The sun in the valley
Seems as a golden globe,
Through the window, he enters
And put down a kiss on my sleepy eyes.
It it sweet to be awake
By the sun
After its long journey.
Here he comes out again
With in his suitcase:
The spring of my 18 years
And the summer of our love.

Coming HomePosted by : Sumeet Mahanti on 12-Dec-2005 Total Views : 330 As I set back home
for my motherland-
that nurtured my childhood,
memories flooding into my mind
of the happy home where I once stood
Long seen home-land still afresh
with the fragrance of dust and mud,
the sight of cattle salvaging the greenery
the wailing of babies – tender as a flower bud
Coming home to the beckon of love
-the mystic abode bedecked with ornate glory,
of the roses and lilies in full bloom-
strewn on the path-leading to my home
Alas- expectant eyes that long awaited
Envisioning the homecoming of a son,
I realise – are but part of a far-blurred vision
straining for a glimpse from above- far away from humandom

What I DoPosted by : Sarbjeet Singh on 05-Dec-2005 Total Views : 204 What I do requires fantastic concentration...
but you can't be totally alone,
or you lose all contact with reality,
so even when I'm engrossed and secluded,
Jack Dunphy can be there.
He's my oldest and best friend, and best critic too."

Diabetes Tells Us We Are MachinesPosted by : Jyoti Gupta on 01-Dec-2005 Total Views : 199 Diabetes tells us we're machines,
Intended to exist but for a time.
All that brought us pleasure in our prime
Breaks down to prove the metal of our means.
Eventually, all of us must die,
Though, perhaps, not quite so bit-by-bit.
Each soul must see of life the whole of it,
So as to know of death the reason why.

I Wish I Were A CliffPosted by : Jyoti Gupta on 30-Nov-2005 Total Views : 235 I wish I were a cliff
Rather than a gentle hill
That climbing up on top
Might be some kind of thrill.
I wish I were a sand dune
Rather than a verdant garden
That my undulations
Might your passion harden.
I wish I were a vixen
Rather than a faithful dog
That you might pursue me
With more than just a nod.
But I am the one I am
Rather than the one I'm not,
So please make me the fantasy
That keeps our loving hot.
