It Dies Like ThatPosted by : Sarbjeet Singh on 22-Nov-2005 Total Views : 184 It dies like that
It's night or day?
That's moon or sun?
Well, anyway,
I have to run.
I see the tears.
Don't cry, my eyes.
I feel my fears,
I feel them rise.
I have to go,
I know it now.
Let's end this show,
Just tell me, how?..
Relax, forget,
Love's just a bird,
She dies like that,
Without a word.

I RememberPosted by : deepak verma on 28-Oct-2005 Total Views : 170 I remember one evening, one fall day
I read something that made me feel life
Feel inquisitive, feel curious
I wrote questioning,
Hoping to get an obvious feeling of goodness.
Within a day or two, my knight responded
It was exactly what I’d hoped for
Exactly what I’d wanted all my life
I’d never met him face to face
Only typed words and pictures on a screen
I fell in love shortly after we met on the net
I remember the first time I saw him
So beautiful!
More feelings, more excitement
Than anyone I’d ever known
More feelings of love I’d never felt
I remember the evening we met
Was my very first time
That I truly knew real love
The night I met my Knight!
Many wonderful, romantic
And loving times were spent and
Shared together
Many unforgettable moments
The moments that will last a lifetime
Were spent together
But also many sad and lonely times
Were spent missing that person
One wonderful weekend
Spent camping together
I knew I wanted him forever!
But soon after
Words typed I’m sorry,
I love you
But I can’t be with you
I felt as though life,
Love and happiness were thrown away forever
The words killed me,
My spirit, my heart
Felt pain as never before
A pain that I never knew
A pain I didn’t want to know
Time went by
All I felt was you
I did my best to forget
But my heart only had regret
For you are my Knight
That I could never forget!
My heart couldn’t take it
I had to give it another try
Time went by
Again I tried
Spending another wonderful weekend
With my Knight by my side
At the end of that weekend
Again I felt that pain
As I heard I love you
But I can’t be with you
Almost a year gone by
Hardly any words
I looked and hoped to see typed words
I love you too
Come be with me
Instead one day
A horrible day
I saw typed words
A fire took it all
I came as soon as I could
Offered everything I thought I should
To make a new life
With my Knight
Soon afterwards words typed
I’m sorry,
I love you
But I can’t be with you
Tonight I lay in my bed
I’m feeling you
Remembering you
Seeing you in my head
Needing to tell you
I’ll love you till I’m dead
Hoping one day
I’ll see typed words
I love you still, until...

BroadwayPosted by : Ripudaman Saini on 19-Oct-2005 Total Views : 147 I shall never forget you, Broadway
Your golden and calling lights.
I'll remember you long,
Tall-walled river of rush and play.
Hearts that know you hate you
And lips that have given you laughter
Have gone to their ashes of life and its roses,
Cursing the dreams that were lost
In the dust of your harsh and trampled stones

AztecPosted by : Ripudaman Saini on 19-Oct-2005 Total Views : 143 You came from the Aztecs
With a copper on your fore-arms
Tawnier than a sunset
Saying good-by to an even river.
And I said, you remember,
Those fore-arms of yours
Were finer than bronzes
And you were glad.
It was tears
And a path west
and a home-going
when I asked
Why there were scars of worn gold
Where a man's ring was fixed once
On your third finger.
And I call you
To come back
before the days are longer

Boes!Posted by : Ripudaman Saini on 19-Oct-2005 Total Views : 135 I waited today for a freight train to pass.
Cattle cars with steers butting their horns against the bars, went by.
And a half a dozen hoboes stood on bumpers between cars.
Well, the cattle are respectable, I thought.
Every steer has its transportation paid for by the farmer sending it to market,
While the hoboes are law-breakers in riding a railroad train without a ticket.
It reminded me of ten days I spent in the Allegheny County jail in Pittsburgh.
I got ten days even though I was a veteran of the Spanish-American war.
Cooped in the same cell with me was an old man, a bricklayer and a booze-ighter.
But it just happened he, too, was a veteran soldier, and he had fought to preserve the Union and free the niggers.
We were three in all, the other being a Lithuanian who got drunk on pay day at the steel works and got to fighting a policeman;
All the clothes he had was a shirt, pants and shoes-- somebody got his hat and coat and what money he had left over when he got drunk.
