Music touches all of our lives
like a breeze in summer heat
soothing, calming, ever new..
we long for its repeat

And if we listen, music can
for just a little while
deliver us from daily woes
enable us to smile

We cannot belittle the effect
the power is too strong
just think about how good it feels
to hear you favorite song

From the first time man beat on a drum
to an orchestra’s resound
music has and always will
be able to astound

Like the whistle of a train
echoes through the night
music flows through all our lives
to every heart's delight

Twas the night before finals, And all through the college, The students were praying, For last minute knowledge.

Most were quite sleepy, But none touched their beds, While visions of essays Danced in their heads.

Out in the taverns, A few were still drinking, And hoping that liquor Would free up their thinking.

In my own room, I had been pacing, And dreading exams I soon would be facing.

My roommate was speechless, Her nose in her books, And my comments to her Drew unfriendly looks.

I drained all the coffee, And brewed a new pot, No longer caring that My nerves were shot.

I stared at my notes, But my thoughts were muddy, My eyes went a blur, I just couldn't study.

"Some pizza might help," I said with a shiver, But each place I called Refused to deliver.

I'd nearly concluded, That life was too cruel, With futures depending On grades had in school.

When all of a sudden, Our door opened wide, And Patron Saint Put-It-Off, Ambled inside.

His spirit was careless, His manner was mellow, All of a sudden, He started to bellow.

"On Cliff Notes, on Crib Notes, On Last Years Exams. On Wingit and Slingit, And Last Minute Crams."

His message delivered, He vanished from sight. But we heard him laughing, Outside in the night.

Your teachers have pegged you, So just do your best. Happy Finals to All, And to all a Good Test.

Are they to keep out wolves and monsters?
Things that carry off and eat children?
Things you don't take sweets from?
Perhaps they're to stop us getting out
Running away from the lessins. Lessin.
What does a lessin look like?
Sounds small and slimy.
They keep them in the glassrooms.
Whole rooms made out of glass. Imagine.

I wish I could remember my name
Mummy said it would come in useful.
Like wellies. When there's puddles.
Yellowwellies. I wish she was here.
I think my name is sewn on somewhere
Perhaps the teacher will read it for me.
Tea-cher. The one who makes the tea.

New year has approached,
with 365 days full of joy,
even sorrows will occur in life
but don't mind, just play and enjoy
new year is an opportunity for u
to make some new plan
and by constant hard work
make evrybody ur fan
we can see the houses decorated
with lights and colored stars
and there we can see
people exchanging gifts and flowers
this festival brings a message of joy and peace
and i hope that u all will celebrate it joyfully
and make this new year a wonderfu;beautiful
and a very very happy new year
