The night has passed dear Lord,
It is a good morrow.
Unto you do l present my load,
Desiring a new tomorrow.

As evil slowly pursues me,
Be thou my defender.
As confusion spreads to me,
Stand and be its offender.

Make all my ventures prosper today,
I do need a spirit of excellence.
Let your blessings flow Monday to Sunday,
And fill my heart with gladness.

This morning,this morning Lord,
Dawn on my expectant heart.
This morning ,this morning God,
Sheild me from Satan's fiery dart.

Heavenly Father above,
Look down unto us this night
Give us the strength to love each other.
Give us the strength to learn from one another.
You have founded us, and now here we stand.
May we continue to grow from one another's love
And with thy help.
