Phantom Of DelightPosted by : Jyoti Gupta on 28-Dec-2005 Total Views : 171 The Mirage
She Was A Phantom of Delight !
As he saw her at first glance she seemed
a complete picture of glowing radiance
Her face a halo of delight;
radaint,bright-like the moon!
Her walk-a poet's delight
causing enough to stir as water is when a pebble dropped;
her tresses flowing down
like ripples on riverbank
caused by the reflecting moon !
She was a phantom of delight !
However little did he know ,
that glitter at distance is often a mirage at hand !
And when he did find out reality
it was too late....it was all a mirage !

Get Up And Get GoingPosted by : Sumeet on 26-Dec-2005 Total Views : 165 Get up and get going, when gored down by that lowly feeling
-the message succinct – life sucks with onset of depression,
the walking wounded struggling to unleash the harness of chains abound
the trick lying in keeping up the walk whilst being pressed to suppression
Depression no longer seen as a weakness of moral fibre
something to be stigmatized or ashamed of,
but as a treatable condition of the mental space
brought about by the balance of chemistry of the mind
- negatives peeled off
Get up and get going- shake off those mental cobwebs
When there is a total paralysis of the spirit of life,
‘cos what we call depression and learning how to cope with it
is nothing but an integral part of this messy business- life’s strife
Human beings representing a constant quest for meaning
-once finding the why- followed by the quest for how,
Get up and get going – find a meaning for your life
And if you can’t find one- adopt one , invent one now

A VAGABOND’S DIARYPosted by : Sumeet on 26-Dec-2005 Total Views : 168 Treading with caution on the path of life
Lead by a goal-less mind- who hath no direction;
Enjoying the blossoming meadows as he passes by
Uncertainty of the path ahead making him hasten
Life of the vagabond – obssessed with travel
An endless journey – to unknown destination;
Hearing the birds chirping on distant trees
The vagabond treads oblivious to the direction
Bathing in the Sun – drying by the wind
Destiny ever-changing with each journey- he leads;
With trepid perseverance he carries on
To wherever his mind and soul treads
The vagabond ever-satisfied with bare possessions
The journey taking him to varied people, places seen;
Taking life one day at a time
Oblivious to the world–so mean !

The AwakeningPosted by : Sumeet on 12-Dec-2005 Total Views : 150 As I sit by the sea
Watching the ebbs of tide;
Dance to the tunes of nature
My mind overcome by bliss
The rising Sun a reminder
That joy follows sorrow;
Redemption follows realization
And the world is a full circle
The sound of the waves
Like music well orchestrated;
Echoing in my ears
Reverbating within to touch my soul
I hear my soul speak
For the very first time;
I feel a light rise within
To open the door of awakening !

GreedPosted by : Jyoti Gupta on 09-Dec-2005 Total Views : 171 She is the ever powerful truth.
My mother nature,
Of neutering sickness.
I hide my worries,
My memories,
Inside of her.
She chips away at them relentlessly.
So they can drift forever,
Far beyond this illness.
Far beyond the grassland of my dangerous nature.
She guides me away.
From acceptance and love.
She leads me into forests of respect and,
There I touch these crusted,
Golden red leaves of my own purity.
There I sing a sweet chirping melody,
Of all the thin lines I have crossed.
Here I have found an escape….
here I have read the books…
here I have grown.
Grown as tall as these trees of burden…
here I have found myself.
Never lost….
I take myself,
By my own hand.
And walk farther into the wilderness,
Of my mind.
Farther until my knees collapse,
It is there I lie looking above the moon,
And it is there that I found myself.
