Look at the travails of life
bathed in a spiritual approach,
Only when the heart is broken
do we feel materialism on life encroach

Open your heart to the higher world
for challenges are created to be faced,
hurdles imposed to be overcome
for without impediments you are seldom blessed

Vision the troubles carried with life
focussed with a positive eye,
for the Creator chooses them for you
to shake you just enough – to enable you for another try

Face the strives of life with a rock-heart
‘cos suffering brings realization, renunciation,
passing the path to spiritual growth
bringing into view Transcendental Manifestation

Untouched is the soul that lies
Beneath the material strife;
Unscathed- free from daily pains
Harbored on the docks of life

Untouched is the soul that rests
Amidst the war of the mind;
Relentless in it’s fight-
Strengthened by a transcendental kind

Untouched is the soul that stands
Amongst the ordeals of life;
Unbudging least in it’s poise
To overcome the pierce of a knife

Untouched is the soul that waits
And waits till time ripe;
To break free from bonds of suffering
To set forth it’s upward flight

Dear god,we thank u for today,
walk with us al the day.
keep us secure from all the fears,
no evil should come near.
take care of our eyes & chirping lips,
keep us safe & away from slips.
help us to love & forgive the foe,
to root out hatred & love to sow.
let our footsteps never go astray,
lest we forget the bliiful way.
whenever any calamity or trouble befall,
help us to stand firm, never to fall.
help us to be honest in our dealings,
holy & pure in our feelings.
no bad word should ever come from heart,
there shouldn't be any mistake on our part.

The Mirage

She Was A Phantom of Delight !
As he saw her at first glance she seemed
a complete picture of glowing radiance
Her face a halo of delight;
radaint,bright-like the moon!
Her walk-a poet's delight
causing enough to stir as water is when a pebble dropped;
her tresses flowing down
like ripples on riverbank
caused by the reflecting moon !
She was a phantom of delight !
However little did he know ,
that glitter at distance is often a mirage at hand !
And when he did find out reality
it was too late....it was all a mirage !

Get up and get going, when gored down by that lowly feeling
-the message succinct – life sucks with onset of depression,
the walking wounded struggling to unleash the harness of chains abound
the trick lying in keeping up the walk whilst being pressed to suppression

Depression no longer seen as a weakness of moral fibre
something to be stigmatized or ashamed of,
but as a treatable condition of the mental space
brought about by the balance of chemistry of the mind
- negatives peeled off

Get up and get going- shake off those mental cobwebs
When there is a total paralysis of the spirit of life,
‘cos what we call depression and learning how to cope with it
is nothing but an integral part of this messy business- life’s strife

Human beings representing a constant quest for meaning
-once finding the why- followed by the quest for how,
Get up and get going – find a meaning for your life
And if you can’t find one- adopt one , invent one now
