God has a lovely garden
In His mansion up above,
He tends the garden every day
With tenderness and love.

The flowers that are in it
Are the sweetest and the best,
To get into God's garden
They have to pass a test.

He goes around them every day
Treating them with care,
You're really very lucky
You have a flower in there.

And when you reach the garden
You'll look at it with pride,
Knowing God, He'll probably put you
At your loved one's side.

Shades of Clouds

So many different kinds of cloud
Travel the skies, humble or proud;
Some clouds glow clean and bright
Some are a fluffy shade of white
Some are flat, some are gray
Some stand in the mighty sun's way
Some are gentle, like a thin veil
Others vicious, thundering, hail;
Different clouds, different shades
Made of same water, different grades.
Each travels the skies for some time
Disperses, unloads, old, or in its prime.

We too like clouds, in different shades
Of the same essence, in different grades
Travel the earth for some time
And disappear to the celestial Chime.

Truth

The Truth is what works, some say
A mind frame for which they dearly pay.

They create their own prison
Invent techniques with their reason
To free themselves from their bondage
And get out of their self-made cage.

And they believe in their technique
Even though of madness it may reek;
To anyone who'd listen they speak
Of this panacea for the meek and weak.

But in truth I can forge a chain
Shackle my ankle with my own brain
In my own mental prison can remain;
Although it works, it is insane.

In truth a chain is still a chain
Whether made by hands or the brain.
No matter how much I complain
If I build my chain, in it remain,
And if I free myself with strain
Very soon I'll forge another again.

Chain and key truth works just as they say
But in truth, it's a recurring way
An illusion driving me astray
Till I awake to light of day.
And for enlightenment pray
Embrace Truth as my only way.

And while I sat there quietly,
Waiting for some sign,
I heard a gentle voice say,

"Oh, dearest child of mine ...
Do you think I really care
About the time of day,
Or whether you are standing up,
Or kneeling when you pray?"

"I don't care about your posture,
Or about the place you choose;
Just open up your soul to me,
I have no other rules.

Tell me what is in your heart,
And tell me what you seek;
Tell me of your sorrows,
And of those things that made you weak."

"Speak to me in private
About what concerns you most;
I know about your good deeds ...
You have no need to boast.

My child, you don't need lessons,
Just talk to me each day;
Tell me anything you want, dear child,
Anyone can pray."

Peace is perfectly natural.
All it asks is that you let it fill your heart.

Yet peace can become so deeply buried that you might forget it's there.
Take a moment, though, to dwell on peace, and it begins to rise within you.

The world may seem to be filled with strife, anxiety, violence and confusion.
Yet peace endures, and is always close at hand.

Peace is ready to be lived at any moment. Let it be, and it is with you.
Let peace be in you, and it will radiate out from you.
Nourish peace within your heart, and that peace will spread beyond you.

Instead of being angry or resentful that others do not know peace, be thankful that you can give it.
And then lovingly let peace come from you.
