Sanath Teran Jayasuriya was born on June 30, 1969, Matara, also known as 'Master Blaster'. Jayasuriya announced, retirement from Test cricket in April 2006. He later reversed this decision and joined the Sri Lankan cricket team in England in May 2006. He was the captain of Sri Lanka Cricket team from 1999-2003.
