Ashina did MBBS from Government college of Chandigarh ( 1993-1999). Then she did her
MD in Pathology from St john medical college Bangalore( 2001-2005). During post graduation She was awraded the "Best Post graduate
thesis award" for her research in fungal infections in diabitic patients. After
postgraduation she worked in Apollo Clinic Bangalore.

Currently She is posted as Sr Resident in pathology department at All India Institte
of medical sciences New delhi.

She is working on a research project on a disese called Leishmaniasis.
