I thank you for taking out time and to go through my profile. I'm actively practicing pediatric surgery and is instrumental in starting Neonatal surgery in private sector in Tricity (Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali).

Professional Qualifications:

1. He has obtained basic surgical training from the Premier Institute in North India PGIMER, Chandigarh. Working as senior resident and has managed routine cases as well as surgical emergencies and trauma.


2. Thereafter, he underwent super speciality training (3 Years) in the discipline of pediatric surgery from the same institute.


3. He has a good exposure in managing spectrum of Neonatal surgical emergencies as well as elective surgeries.


4. He has successfully managed pediatric trauma, pediatric urology cases and pediatric surgical emergencies.


5. He has been exposed to laparoscopy and has assisted pediatric laparoscopy procedure like - Cholecystectomy, Appendicectomy, Herniotomy, Undescended testicles, Hydated Cysts, including diagnostic laparascopy.


6. He has good experience in managing critically ill babies in Neonatal surgical ICU.


7. He has several papers published in National & International Journal.


8. He is a member of IAPS (Indian Association of Pediatric Surgeons)

• Neonatal Cases: - Esophageal Atresia, Anal Atresia, Duodenal Atresia, Meningo Myelocele, Hydrocephalus.


• Pediatric Cases:- Hypertrophic pyloric stenosis, Malrotation, Intususception, Hypospadias, Hirschprungs Disease.


• Pediatric Tumor:- Wilms tumor, Mediastinal tumor.


• Pediatric Urology:- PUV ( posterior urethral valve), PUJO ( pelvi ureteric junction obstruction ).

• Ist Case of Esophageal Atresia with fistula managed & discharged in Tricity.


• Ist Case of Rectal Atresia, Diagnosed and operated successfully in tricity & surrounding region.


• Rare surgery for gastric volvulus with eventration of diaphragm in infant.


• Instrumental in Initiating and promoting Neonatal Surgery in the region.
