Homoeopathy for first aid



A Homoeopathic First Aid Kit can be used to speed healing following an accident or at the onset of an acute illness. Timely use of remedies can prevent or minimise traumatic. In an emergency, call an ambulance before giving the remedy – hopefully you won’t need it, but it's there if you do.



Arnica



It is our most important remedy in any trauma ranging from bruising, over-exertion and sprain, to severe injuries from shocking accidents. It reduces swelling after knocks and falls, helps or prevents muscle strain, reduces soft tissue swelling around fractures, hastens recovery from concussion and from any kind of shock – physical, mental or emotional.



Calendula:



A most remarkable healing agent, applied locally. Useful for open wounds, parts that will not heal, ulcers, etc. Promotes healthy granulations and rapid healing by first intention. For burns sores, fissures, and abrasion  Hæmostatic after tooth extraction.

 

Apis



Apis is invaluable in allergic reactions - anaphylactic reactions where the whole body swells in response to an allergen and in localised reactions including hives and rashes. Apis conditions include bites and stings, conjunctivitis, pharyngitis, cystitis, and minor burns where the patient is worse for heat in any form and better for cold applications and cold drinks.



Hypericum



Is the remedy for injured nerves; from simple punctures from nails, splinters, pins, rat bites, etc., to severe concussions of the spine and brain, and especially to parts rich in nerves, especially of fingers, toes and nails. Crushed fingers, especially tips .It is also called Homoeopathic TT .,It prevents Tetanus Infection in wounded when applied along with calendula.



 

Ledum Pal



 It’s a great remedy similar to above arnica and hypericum.It acts well in bruises and Punctured wounds by sharp pointed instruments, as awls, nails rat bites, stings of insects, and mosquitoes.



 

Rhustox



Its is a useful remedy in curing symptoms of  pain and stiffness in muscles, tendons, ligaments and fasciae due to sprain, strain and overstretching.



 

Cantharis and Urtica urens



Minor Burns and scalds confined to skin. In Burns before or after blisters form, will promptly relieve pain and often prevent vesication,when applied locally.



 

Symphytum



It is useful in mechanical injuries; blows, bruises, thrusts on the globe of the eye. Pain in eye after a blow of an obtuse body; snow ball strikes the eye; infant thrusts its fist into its mother's eye . For traumatic injuries of the eyes ,Injury to eyeball.It reduces swelling and Pain.
