SKIN GRAFTING: large tattoo marks, burn scars, white patches etc can be removed and matching skin from another part of body can be removed and put in its place.
DERMABRASION:This technique is useful for pitted scars like those of acne and small pox. This operation is done under anaesthesia and layer by layer skin is removed with a special equipment till smooth skin is achieved. Raw area takes 2-4 weeks to heal and smoother skin is obtained.
MICRODERMABRASION AND CHEMICAL PEELING: These are nor surgical methods. They ate useful in polishing the skin and making it smoother. Only very shallow and minor marks can improve by these metods . LASER: lasers can be used to remove tattoos though ot requires multiple sittings.
