A very good movie. I recently watched it and it has all the ingredients in equal doses to make it worth watching. It's an overall entertainment movie for all ages of people. The title does suggest that it is a sequel to Munnabhai M.B.B.S but i think it's not actually a sequel because of The change in the Story and Change of Characters Played by the actors in Munnabhai M.B.B.S. The only similarity with Munnabhai M.B.B.S are the characters Munnabhai and Circuit and actors like Sunjay dutt(As Munnabhai), Arshad warsi (As Circuit), Boman Irani(As Lucky Singh ), Jimmy Shergill (As Victor D'Souza ). The Other similarity being the The Title and the similar kind of treatment which had been given to Munnabhai M.B.B.S.
It's a new adventure with new faces like Vidya Balan, Dia mirza,Dilip Prabhavalkar and the the Six Senior Citizens. The director Rajkumar Hirani has picked just the right type of actors for the Characters they have to Portray in the story. The director once again proves his mettle when it comes to making a Comedy movie with a message.
The movie has very minor glitches but you can discount them out keeping in mind the Wholesome entertaiment package this movie provides.But what is Outstanding in this movie is the Interaction of munnabhai with mahatma gandhi which gives a fresh look to the movie along with the comical situations involving Munna-Circuit and Munna-Jhanvi which Add to The Humour of the movie.
Vidya balan looks gorgeous and has given a good performance. Arshad warsi is hilarious , his mere facial expressions are enough to bring a smile on your face. Boman irani has done a decent job and the rest of all actors have done fine acting.
Sunjay-Arshad team is here to stay , it reminds me of Akshay-Saif team. Overall a very good movie which you shouldn't miss. |
