Apna Sapna Money Money is a Situation Comedy with a long list of characters, 11 to be exact. Multi Characters and Multi Starred Movies are becoming a rage and they are getting good response too just like Priyadarshan’s 'Hulchul', 'Malamaal Weekly' etc.
Director Sangeeth Sivan is too catching up with this trend with his last movie ‘Kyaa Kool Hain Hum’ being a Multi Starred one. Apna Sapna Money Money brings a mechanic, a conman, a club dancer, an honest cop, an obsessed father and his homely daughter, a tabela owner, a ruthless gangster, a deadly don & his vamp and an unpredictable dog together.
The story although involves all the characters but its central character is Kishan Dev Saxena [Ritesh Deshmukh] who is a conman. His success lies in his skill to disguise himself into any type of person depending upon the situation. Apart from cheating people of their money, Kishan’s heart beats for Julie [Koena Mitra].
Julie is a bar dancer who’s not only beautiful from outside but inside as well. She’s a fun loving girl and can take risks for money’s sake.
Kishan has a friend named Arjun Fernandez [Shreyas Talpade] who is a mechanic. He has a small garage and lives with his dog named Badshah and an orphan child Titli. His love interest is Shivani Pandit [Ria Sen].
Shivani is a simple and warm hearted girl whose world starts and ends with Arjun. Shivani’s father is Pt. Satyabol Shastri [Anupam Kher] who is a complex and stubborn man. He is always obsessed with the protection of his daughter.
Danny Carlos[Jackie Shroff] is a ruthless underworld don based in Bangkok. He’s an escaped convict and relies on Sania Badnam [Celina Jaitley] for his operations in India.
Sania is a shrewd women who uses her sexuality to exploit men. To gain power and money is her sole aim in life.
Ranaji [Chunkey Pandey] is a former Nepalese don who is also wanted by the police.He is on the look out for that one person who managed to con him.
Mata Prasad [Rajpal Yadav] is wannabe don who is so impressed with the 'Sarkar' character from the movie 'Sarkar', that he himself wants to be like him. He is so obsessed with the character that he even wears clothes like him and even behaves like him.
Namdev Mane a.k.a. 'Na Mane' [Suniel Shetty] is an honest cop whose mission in life is to bring the criminals to justice.
All these characters have one thing in common and that is the Greed For Money. Their Sapna hence is Money ! Money ! The situations and circumstances which brings all these characters in contact with each other is the core of the story bringing out Loads Of Laughter and Fun.
The songs are good providing a mix of 'desi' and 'western' tunes. Mika Singh is the surprise package lending his voice for 'Dil Mein Baji Guitar' which is has two versions, the other being sung by Amit Kumar. 'Gustakh Nigah' is one hot number to look out for. Paisa Paisa','Jai Jai Money' and 'Apna Sapna Money Money' are very much in tune with the subject of the story.

Sangeeth Sivan’s ‘Apna Sapna Money Money’ is an average comedy neither too good nor too bad. Riteish Deshmukh is not that a good actor so as to be cast as the lead character. Shreyas Talpade has been not given the platform he deserves keeping in mind the potential he has.
Ria Sen, Celina Jaitley and Koena Mitra are just there to show off for what they are better known for.
Rajpal Yadav and Anupam kher are two exceptions, performance wise rest the cast has given average performances.
The songs are also average not really foot tapping or addictive.

‘Apna Sapna Money Money’ is director Sangeeth Sivan’s second movie, the previous being ‘Kyaa Kool Hain Hum’ and it’s not really up to the mark. ‘Kyaa Kool Hain Hum’ was much better.
The movie is too much crowded with so many characters. With so many characters you have to give justice to each character in the sense that all should be in focus and watching all of them should give you a sense of excitement.
Priyadarshan who has made 'Hera Pheri', 'Hungama', 'Hulchul' and 'Malamaal Weekly' is much better in dealing with a movie which features dozens of artists.
Overall a Good Comedy.

Apna Sapna Money Money is a good comedy. Noticeable performances from Riteish Deshmukh, Anupam Kher and Rajpal Yadav.
Riteish Deshmukh is really funny and he looks convincing as an attractive women
Anupam Kher( Half Blind Pervert) who’s after Riteish Deshmukh’s Lady Disguise is really comical and is one of the most humorous filled moments in the film.
And Rajpal Yadav (Mata Prasad ),also adds up to the comical element of the film with his Ever persistent Desire to Be Like 'Sarkar'.
Good choreography of the songs with three hot babes (Ria Sen, Celina Jaitley and Koena Mitra) of bollywood generating an OOMPH! Good music too.
Overall a Good Comedy.
