Movie Report
After a long wait, finally Aamir Khan's new work Ghajini has been released on this Christmas. The Tamil and Telugu versions of Ghajini have been a massive hit so is the case with Hindi version. The film is said to be a great hit. Ghajini is a commercial Hindi cinema at its best. The film has 'Hit' written all over it. The film had raised everyone's expectations across far-flung corners as Tamil and its Telugu dubbed version had walloping critical acclaims.
Sanjay Sanghania (Aamir Khan) is suffering from acute short-term memory loss set off by the violent murder of his girlfriend Kalpana (Asin). Sanjay Sanghania (Aamir Khan) is a rich businessman, who 'accidentally' falls in love with Kalpana (Asin), a struggling model. During the course of their courtship, Aamir proposes to Asin and she agrees not knowing that he is who he is. In the meanwhile, Asin loves to help out the needy and one such exercise of her proves fatal.
She rescues twenty five girls who are being taken to Goa. Ghajini, the man behind the flesh trade is not amused. He enters her house with his goons and does away with her, even as Aamir enters at the same time, to tell her who he actually is. He is hit on the head and hence the brain disorder when he cannot remember things for more than 15 minutes. He's got to work around this handicap, but with methodical and meticulous determination. Aamir etches a path of clues that lead him on his road.
To aid him in his quest, he carries around a sheaf of Polaroids and when he is really sure of a piece of information, he has it tattooed on his body, which stands in for the damaged part of his mind. His indelibly marked torso is the repository of his grief, his rage and his reason to go on living.
On the acting front, Aamir khan is just the best. Asin is fabulous. She looks pretty on screen and acted brilliantly. Pradeep Rawat is awesome as Ghajini. He has acted in such a way that the people will love to hate him. Jiah Khan is impressive in her role.
On the whole, 'Ghajini' is so tremendous on all panoramas of narration and technical aspects. Screenplay is narrated on two separate chronicles; present life and flashback sequences of Sanjay (Aamir Khan). Really Ghajini ends this year with a great Dhamaka for all universal audiences.
