Kaashh... Mere Hote!
Movie Report
Kaashh... Mere Hote! directed by B.H.Tharun Kumar is another twisted version of movie Darr. The basic difference is, in Darr, it was a man playing an obsessed lover. In Kaashh... Mere Hote!, it's a woman.
Krish (Kumar Sahil) and Radhika (Sneha) are in love. For a work assignment, Krish has to go to Mauritius where he becomes a tenant at retired Col. Patra's (Rajesh Khanna) villa. While Col. Patra is blind, his daughter Piya (Sanna) falls in love at first sight with Krish. While Krish doesn't seem interested as he is committed to Radhika, Piya's love for Krish starts turning obsessive.
Things change for the worse when Radhika starts using her superpowers to overcome whatever comes in between her and Krish. How Krish and Radhika fight back Piya forms rest of the film.
On the acting front, Kumar Sahil needs a lot more grooming. He's extremely raw. Sneha Ullal is a pretty face with a blank expression. Sana leaves a mark. Rajesh Khanna hams. It's sad to see the ex-superstar enacting such inconsequential roles. Johny Lever raises a few laughs, but the jokes on Bachchans are in poor taste.
On the Whole, director Tharun Kumar has done a poor job in this film. His lack of direction is visible in every frame. This ridiculously scripted film has disaster written all over it. Not even a single thing is worth a merit. In nutshell Kaashh... Mere Hote! is a poor show all the way.
