Movie Report
Kambakkht Ishq, directed by Sabir Khan is a film with great technical expertise, glamour, and humour. The film has a great starcast. Besides bollywood starts Akshay and KAreen it has Hollywood stars -- Sylvester Stallone, Brandon Routh and Denise Richards too. The film explores the relationship of two individuals different from each other.
Viraj [Akshay Kumar] is a stuntman in Hollywood, who lives by the mantra 'women are only good for two things'….. ''making love & making love''. Simrita [Kareena Kapoor] is a firebrand who is more than able to stare down the most arrogant male with her caustic wit and sardonic tongue. They meet at Simrita's best friend Kamini's and Viraj's brother Lucky's wedding. Both of them are against this marriage. They violently oppose it desprately try to stop the marriage.
Sparks fly, accidents occur, And both are thrown together in the most absurd, hilarious situation until one dramatic twist of fate binds the two together in a manner that they could have never ever even dreamed of in their wildest fantasies. The battle of the sexes is on. Who is going to throw the punches and who is going to blow the kisses is rest of the story?
Sabbir does a good take on first half with more mirthful panoramas while the latter part is overwhelming with sentiments and emotions. Pardon him! The filmmaker takes you the fun-filled climax that will sprinkle us smiles.
Acting wise, Akshay is fabulous as usual. People will love his breathtaking stunts in this film. Kareen Kapoor is equally competitive. She has also done a good job. Aftab and Amrita are just OK.
On the whole, Kambakkht Ishq is both comedy and emotional film. The film is hilarious in first part but latter it becomes emotional. It is a film that one should watch once.

i have watched the tamil version of the movie. It is so well directed and the lead actors kamal hassan and simran have acted so well. kareen and akshay were horrible. Infact kareena has over acted and exposed thats it. Very bad
