Movie Report
Director Ashutosh Gowariker presents Love Story 2050's lead pair Harman Baweja and Priyanka Chopra in his film What's Your Rashee?. The film is based on the novel 'Kimball Ravenswood' by Madhu Rye. The concept of the film is interesting but the big screen adaptation is not so effective.
The story centers on Yogesh Patel [Harman Baweja], a young man who in his heart has always wanted a love marriage. Till suddenly he is told that he must find his dream girl within ten days to save his family from utter ruin.
Finding the dream girl is tough enough. Finding her in a hurry is even tougher.
His solution is simple; he will meet one girl from each Raashee - sun sign, as he feels that is the best way to make sure he finds a suitable wife, while also giving himself twelve chances to fall in love. Two meetings per day gives him six days to meet them, three days to make a final decision and he can get married on the tenth day, or so he thinks.
The premise is silly, the plot frivolous and the execution lacks direction. It appears as though Gowariker has let go of the reins and is not aware of what is happening. The writing is the biggest culprit here. There are also too many sub-plots; the pundit who turns detactive, the sidekicks of the don and the Kampala to Khandala plot.
Performance wise, What's Your Rashee belongs to Priyanka Chopra only. She has done an excellent job in this film. She has given a matured performance. This is her finest work to date. Same is for Harman Baweja. He has come out of Hritik's looks. He looks good. He has also given a decent performance. Their chemistry between the two is really wonderful. Its really different from their first film.
On the whole, What's Your Rashee is just and average film. This film is not like other movies of Gowariker. The film is lengthy and the script of the film is very weak. Only the performance of leading actors runs the film.

This is a nice movie !!!--brand new idea & story lineup.
Priyanka Chopra's acting is awesome...All the characters she played wonderfully. Harman is also good. Screenplay and movie logic is nice.
Only ending is logically unsatisfactory to my view!!
I think Director got confused how to end it????...:)

This is not Ashutosh Gowariker type’s movie, if you are going to watch this movie keeping all Ashutosh Gowariker movies in mind, than for sure you will be disappointed. This is different script and definitely will attract certain set of crowd. This could have been a much better if Ashutosh Gowariker has shortened the duration. It’s a feel good, one time watch movie.

- harman baweja has to marry within 10 days and he met 10-12 girls in 6 days and then he has to decide the girl in 4 days......
Overall Priyanka did a good job in most of the rashi girls and Harman baweja dialog delivery is as usual childish though did better as compared to Love story 2050.
if you are priyanka fan then go and watch it and if you cannot stand harman bhai then this is not the right movie.
