The Movie Tum Mile directed by Kunal Deshmukh is based on heavy rainfall incident in Mumbai along with the love story of a young couple Ali [Emraan Hashmi] and Sanjana [Soha Ali Khan]. Tum Mile is primarily a love story where the Bhatts demote the disaster angle from the backdrop to the backburner and the focus is largely on the romance between the lead pair.
Ali Taha [Emraan Hashmi] meets Sanjana [Soha Ali Khan] on board of their flight to Mumbai from Cape Town. Here on the film proceeds on and back and forth narrative revealing them being ex-lovers. Six years back then Ali was a art student and had lost his heart to the activist Sanjana. They both had progressed to a live in relationship in quick time as well. But monetary issues leading to ego clashes had broken their relationship apart.
After arriving in Mumbai on the ill fated day of 26th July 2005, they go onto encounter the biggest floods in the history of Mumbai. The rest of the film is about the couple battling for their lives after being stuck in the rain and floods. In their struggle for survival, they learn more about each other and things which they had not known in all those years of being together.
Performace wise, Emraan Hashmi is in great form. He delievers an effortless performance. Soha Ali Khan looks gorgeous on-screen. She is confident with her expressions and impressions.
On the whole, Tum Mile is a beautiful love story. The lead Pair Emraan and Soha is superb. Must a watch for hardcore Fans of Emraan Hashmi.

i think tum mile is not great movie it is also like before
this type movie accuostomed coming and delibreately launch to waste the people time ....which is so much precious......

Tum mile movie going to be a great hit, it is based upon the love so lovers will like it very much.

On the whole Tum Mile is a fantastic love story. The film is for youth mainly. People will love to watch it as a love story rather than a disastrous movie. Positives - The storyline of the film is effective. The lyrics melt with the mood and the music by Pritam blends with the scenes. Chemstry between lead pair is unbelievable. Negatives - The length of the film is a big problem. It seems lengthy as it reaches the climax. Some little cuts here and there would have done wonder for this film.
