Kurbaan directed by Renzil D'Silva is a film based on terrorism. This film is more powerful, more thoughtful and more dramatic than other films of this category. This film has two stories running concurrently - the love story between Saif and Kareena and the story of Islamic terrorists. And the most beautiful thing about Kurbaan is that the plot runs smoothly only the twists and turns surprise you.
Love blossoms between a Delhi college professor, Avantika (Kareena) and her newly joined colleague, Ehsaan Khan (Saif). But as she receives a call to join back her University in New York, Ehsaan proposes marriage. While her father initially disapproves of the match because of Ehsaan being a Muslim, he finally gives his nod impressed by Ehsaan's approach.
The duo marries and shifts to New York City. There Avantika becomes witness to some terrorist operations in her neighbourhood headed by a Muslim fundamentalist (Om Puri). Soon she realizes her own husband is a major part of the terrorist sleeper cell operating there and is the reason for aeroplane blast that kills 140 people. She secretly seeks help from a television reporter Riyaaz (Vivek Oberoi) who attempts to infiltrate the terrorist outfit to foil their big plan. What follows next is a series of incidents that sucks Avantika into a vortex of danger and intrigue. As her life spirals out of control, Avantika realizes that she is a pawn in a huge game.
Acting wise, everyone delivers fine performance. Saif Ali Khan is just superb. Kareena Kapoor is mind blowing. Om puri is fit for his role. Kirron kher has delivered one of her career best performance. Dia Mirza and Nauheed Cyrusi are impressive despite their short roles. Vivek Oberoi is fantastic.
On the whole, Kurbaan is a film unlike any other film made under this category. This is one of the most beautiful and most thought-provoking film to come out of bollywood this year. Must a watch film.

| surprizingly good movie |

When I started watching this movie I thought it is one of craps made on this subject. But eventually turned out to be the best movie on the subject made by Bollywood.
I always say about Indian suspense and action movies they start up really nicely and then the writer totally loses control on the story, and effectively movie ends something like 60 before the climax. But in the case of this movie the movie was on till the last scene.
On small goof dude one KG explosive can not create this much devastation we are generation who have grown up hearing news of bomb blasts and exactly how much this explosive can accomplish.

it is a flim which leads to thought every one, and it is very easy to uderstand everyone that what the flim is and what is going on the flim and what problems occur when some of them are instist in the terrorism. overall the flim is good and the actors play their role very well
