Break Ke Baad
Movie Report
Break Ke Baad is a film directed by debut director Danish Aslam. The film is a romantics comedy. Director Danish Aslam has paired Imran Khan and Deepika Padukon for his film and also they have been paired for the first time on screen. The fim is about relashionships between urban couples.
The film has a story of two childhood friends, Abhay Gulati (Imran Khan) and Aaliya Khan (Deepika Padukone). They both love each other. Aaliya is a feisty aspiring actress. Abhay is a confused guy who works with his father but doesn't love what he's doing.
Aaliya decides to go to Australia for studies and the 'distance' between their relationship increases. Barely a few months after Aaliya has left, Abhay reaches Australia to be with her. But the growing differences between them, forces Aaliya to break-up with him.
Performance wise, Imran Khan once again shows his talent. He seems fir for his role. Deepika Padukone is fine. Sharmilla Tagore is wasted. Yudhishtir has no scope. Navin Nishchol is hardly there. Lillete Dubey delivers some spicy dialogues.
On the whole, Break ke Baad is a total waste of time and money. Not to be a choice for this weekend.

Overall, Break Ke Baad fails to impress the viewers. Debutante director Danish Aslam doesn't show us anything which we haven't seen in past. The execution is weak. It starts well, but soon become a test of your patience every passing second.
Positives:
1. Performance by lead actors are fine.
2. Director Danish has handled some moments very well.
3. Vishal & Shekhar's music is soothing.
Negatives:
1. The film has a very feeble script.
2. Execution of the film is not well.
3. The narrative becomes very dreary after interval.
