Will You Marry Me
Movie Report
About Story:The film centers around three friends who love their bachelorhood so much that they place a bet among themselves that whoever decides to marry first will lose a huge amount in shares that were contributed by all three. All is well until one decides to take the plunge and make a commitment.
Movie Review:-Marriages aren't rocket science, really. Save for the writer's attempts to make it look like a complex, twisted tale of love. But cutting to the chase, this is a story of three boys, two girls, a few songs and one never-ending film.Three men take centre stage in Aditya Datt's latest romantic comedy WILL YOU MARRY ME?. It's graduation day and the three friends have charted the course of their life. One is busy with the babes, the other is getting slapped for popping the question 'Will You Marry Me' too soon, while the third is in a serious relationship and has marriage on his mind.
Direction, Dialogues and Music:- With a weak script to begin with, a story that loses the plot from the word 'Go' and an unmoving narrative, director Aditya V Datt seems to have failed in his 'marriage proposal' to the audience.
The attempts to elicit a few laughs by stereo-typifying the gay community is not in good taste. After a while, we begin to gag on the gags.
Overall:- 'Will You Marry Me' disappoints big time and the storyteller fails to weave any magic. Overall score can't go beyond 1.5 out of 5.
