Abut Movie:- Talaash: The Answer Lies Within is an upcoming Indian psychological thriller film written and directed by Reema Kagti. The project is jointly produced by Excel Entertainment and Aamir Khan Productions, and features Aamir Khan, Rani Mukerji and Kareena Kapoor in pivotal roles.
Talaash is a tale of love lost, fatal attraction and above all the quest to solve a perfect crime. Suspense at its core, Talaash explores Mumbai's underbelly like never before.
Also, the film has captured local areas of Mumbai, which are gradually being demolished. It has been shot in areas like Charni Road, Lower Parel, Colaba, Grant Road and Central Bombay to add the actual flavour of the city in the movie.
This will be Aamir's first big release after 3 Idiots, which came in 2009. No wonder, expectations are high from the film. Also, Aamir is known for devising innovative strategies to promote his films, so the industry is waiting to see what he does to pep up the buzz around Talaash.
Movie Review:- When a famous actor dies in a mysterious accident, police officer Surjan Singh Shekhawat aka Suri (Aamir Khan) mixes up his personal and professional worlds. His search for answers takes him to seedy whorehouses and a milieu of pigheadedly uncooperative to dangerously seductive characters.
Direction, Performance and Music:- The nuanced performances; the enticing cinematography; the direction and music. Aamir Khan does an excellent job of the troubled cop-father Suri. He really brings out a father’s pain. Kareena Kapoor manages to hold Rosy’s mysterious aura quite well. Reema Kagti keeps a consistent direction throughout the film, giving the viewer everything to concoct the answer to the mystery in their own heads.
Overall:- Talaash offers a lot with the mystery, its unconventional story might not satisfy all.
