Abuot Movie:- The Attacks of 26/11 is an upcoming Indian crime-thriller film, based on the 2008 Mumbai attacks. This movie gives you an insight of 26/11, when 9 trained terrorists held Mumbai hostage for 60 hours causing Mumbai under terror.
Movie Review:- The terrorist outrage in Bombay on Wednesday became only too real for the chief executive and senior board members of Unilever. They had to barricade themselves in a private dining room at the Taj Mahal hotel and then smash a window in a dramatic escape.
Direction, Performance and Music:- There were striking shots of Maria in the morgue and memorable scenes of Mumbai. One did not appreciate the corny, predictable cuts to goddesses, Buddhas, Mahtama Gandhi, sadhus, mosques and Muslim families. Music is on the top but not too intrusive either. Nana Patekar, though quite over the top in places, was really very good. It is a pity he did not get a proper role in a proper film on 26/11.
Overall:- Ram Gopal Varma is still not back to his best and ‘The Attacks of 26/11’ isn’t an unqualified triumph. But it is certainly watchable
