The Stoneman Murders is a film directed by writer-director Manish Gupta. Manish Gupta who wrote Ram Gopal Verma's Sarkar makes a brilliant debut as a dirctor with The Stoneman Murders. The film is about an unsolved case of a serial killer who is named Stoneman by the media due to the way he kills people. Manish Gupta has picked up a startling, true-to-life story and merged fact and fiction in it.
The film takes place in the city of Mumbai, where serial killings are taking place at a rapid pace. Still, the case seems to be of little interest to Mumbai Police force. Then suspended sub-inspector Sanjay [Kay Kay Menon] decides to investigate the case.
Sanjay hopes to track this killer down and thus, possibly find an entry back into the police force. AIG Satam [Vikram Gokhale], who supports Sanjay, provides him secret aid as well, for tracking down the serial killer. But the official investigator of the case, Inspector Kedar [Arbaaz Khan] clashes incessantly with Sanjay as both of them separately delve deeper into the case.
On the other hand, the killer continues to haunt the streets of Mumbai, claiming victim after victim. So, will the police be able to find out who The Stoneman is?, and who will solve the case Sanjay or Kedar is rest of the film.
Performance wise, Kay Kay has delievers a dazzling performance. He is just awsome. Arbaaz Khan is getting better in every film. Vikram Gokhale is Flawless.
On the whole, The Stoneman Murders is an average film. The film will do an average business at box-office.
