‘Happy Feet’ is the story of a Penguin who is a Misfit in the World of Singer Emperor Penguins. This Penguin doesn’t have a Good Voice but his Dancing Skills are Excellent and how his skill bring happiness in hsi life itself Justifys the title ‘Happy Feet’.
In the Kingdom of Emperor Penguins living in Antarctica, Singing is a Way of Life. Singing skills are a must for every single Penguin in this Kingdom.
Memphis (Hugh Jackman’s Voice) and Norma Jean (Nicole Kidman’s Voice) fall in Love in Typical Penguin Style-That of Singing. Singing also forms a Part of Raising their Offspring Mumble (Elijah Wood’s Voice). Mumble gets his name owing it to his feet emerging first while hatching, leaving the rest of him in his egg.
Mumble is very much unlike the other Penguins. He has a strange way of Walking as if he is Prancing and above all he’s the worst singer in the whole kingdom. His parents try to teach him to sing but he’s unable to do so. Mumble however has good Dancing Feet, in fact he excels in dancing but keeps his Talent hidden as it would draw Criticism.
The parents are worried about Mumble’s Future-Without a good voice he may not be able to find his true love. But Mumble shares a childhood connection with Gloria (Brittany Murphy’s Voice), who is the best singer. She likes him she finds his Dancing Ways quite Charming. But Noah the Elder (Hugo Weaving) who is the stern leader of Emperor Kingdom disapproves of his ways and eventually casts him out of the kingdom.
His exile turns out to be a Blessing in Disguise as he finds Friends and Admirers amongst the Adelie Amigos who are Rockhopper Penguins lead by Ramon(Robin Williams Voice). They live outside the Emperor Penguin’s Kingdom known as Adelie Land. They are very much Impressed by Mumble’s Dancing Moves and Invite him to Party with them. Here Mumble searches for answers to guide his life from a Bizarre Penguin called Lovelace the Guru (Robin Williams Voice).
In the Quest for Answers to the question called Life, Mumble, Adelie Amigos and Lovelace venture out in the vastness of the Land. There Journey is filled with the encounters with their arch enemies skuas, a seal, a pair of killer whales and humans as well. Their Adventure plays a Pivotal role in teaching themselves of an important lesson in their life-That if you are True to yourself with all honesty, you can Win The World.
