Movie Report
About Movie: Described as a cross between "Superbad" and "Adventures in Babysitting." Noah (Jonah Hill) is a college student who has been suspended and now lives with his mom. After having a heated argument with his mother, he's lured into taking a babysitting job caring for the kids of Mrs. Pedulla: the stern and studious Slater (Max Records), no-nonsense wild child Blithe (Landry Bender) and Mafia-esque exchange student Rodrigo (Kevin Hernandez). Soon Noah is invited to a party to have sex with his girlfriend (Ari Graynor) though he is fully unprepared for the wild night ahead of him and he soon becomes entangled with two psychopathic drug dealers and a wild chase through Manhattan.
Movie Review:- Noah Griffith (Jonah Hill) has agreed to babysit three kids so his single mother can go out on a date, but the kids are a nightmare from the mopey Slater (Max Record) to his celebrity-crazed little sister Blithe (Landry Bender) and their destructive adopted brother Rodrigo (Kevin Hernandez). Noah's desire to hook up with his pseudo-girlfriend (Ari Graynor) sends him on a field trip to get her drugs, but the kids get him into further trouble with an eccentric drugdealer named Karl (Sam Rockwell). A comedy about a college student on suspension who is coaxed into babysitting the kids next door, though he is fully unprepared for the wild night ahead of him.
The Sitter is not sofunny film. It does not mean it’s not worth seeing. It’s a harmless comedy that lets you put your mind on cruise control as it whips you around from ludicrous bit to bit, trying to pack in every gag possible resulting in a piece that’s not all that funny, but mildly enjoyable.
