Movie Report
About Movie:- Miss Bala is upcoming Action Drama film. Tells the story of Laura, a young woman whose aspirations of becoming a beauty queen turn against her, delivering her into the hands of a gang that's terrorizing northern Mexico. Although Laura succeeds in winning the beauty queen crown, her experiences as an unwilling participant in Mexico's violent war leave her shaken and transformed.
Movie Review:-Gerardo Naranjo's Miss Bala is a chilling, cautionary tale about an ingenuous young Mexican woman, who leaves her impoverished home hoping to become a beauty queen but ends up in the hands of Mexican drug gangs. She's a helpless pawn, hiding beneath beds, underneath car seats and behind corners, as burly drug traffickers and cops go on their murderous sprees. Characters are killed, hung from bridges and dragged behind trucks without anyone showing the slightest hint of emotion.
Direction, Dialogues and Music:-The film is a polemic, indicting the corruption and lack of moral fibre that infects Mexico's battle with drug gangs. Much has been made about the authenticity of the film's representation of that situation. A film's first priority is to provide gripping narrative. Miss Bala has great moments, like the one described above, but at its heart it is the story of a woman caught up inadvertently in a dangerous, absurd situation.
Overall:-Gawking at these awful events so thrillingly illustrated, the viewer may not know whether to scream or cheer. Miss Bala is a tragedy rendered with the savviest, moviewise virtuosity. A young woman’s despair, and a nation’s, was never so damned entertaining.
