About Movie: Magic Mike is an upcoming drama. Veteran male stripper Magic Mike (Tatum) teaches a new male stripper (Pettyfer) about the occupation. They work at the club Xquisite, which is owned by the former male stripper Dallas (McConaughey). The film stars Channing Tatum, and the screenplay is in part based on Tatum's experiences as a male stripper in Tampa, Florida when he was 19 years old.
Additional Notes: Pic draws on Channing Tatum's experiences working as a teen stripper in Tampa. In an interview with Soderbergh he said"When Channing talked to me about this, I thought it was one of the best ideas I'd ever heard for a movie". I said I wanted in immediately. It's sexy, funny, and shocking. We're using 'Saturday Night Fever' as our model, so hopefully we're on the right track.
Movie Review:- Directed by Steven Soderbergh, "Magic Mike" is based on the early life experiences of star Channing Tatum, who was once a male stripper. The film details the highs and lows of the profession, with a cavalcade of hunky and manscaped actors (Matthew McConaughey, Alex Pettyfer, Joe Manganiello, Matt Bomer, Adam Rodriguez and more) along for the ride.
Direction, Performance and Music:- It is loosely based on star Channing Tatum's real-life stripper past. The cast is basically comprised of a bunch of sinewy studs,
Overall:- The film is Tatum’s and he fills the screen with his easy smile and relaxed flirtation.
