Lucy Punch will play the woman's best friend and advertising agency co-worker. She is told the news by Dr. Goldstein, a successful doctor with a hardened exterior, who is deeply impressed and affected by the way Marley accepts the news of her fate with humor and dignity. From there, Marley and Julian find themselves falling in love, and doing their best to make the most of the time they have left.
Movie Review:- A LITTLE BIT OF HEAVEN is a love story set in New Orleans about an irreverent young woman who unexpectedly falls in love with her doctor. Marley Corbett (Kate Hudson) is young, beautiful, and wildly funny, but she's afraid of opening herself up to true love and commitment. Though she uses her humor to prevent matters from getting serious, a life-changing visit to her doctor (Gael Garcia Bernal) sends both of them on an eye-opening adventure of mutual discovery, leading to revelations neither thought possible. Marley is at the height of her proverbial game when she learns of her terminal disease. Now, she finds herself in a race against time to accomplish her premature bucket list and leave in her wake a rejoicing for the life she so enjoyed living. A Little Bit of Heaventackles the denial and disharmony of a young woman’s nuclear and professional life when she stands toe-to-toe with the most notorious of illnesses.
Direction, Performance and Music:- The Film is amazing that this is from the same director who made the excellent The Woodsman. Excellnt performance with full emotions.
Overall:- This Film is Mortality, spirituality, sexuality and family are rolled into one woman’s tale of a life worth enjoying.
