 Full Movie Review

About Movie: The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists, known internationally as The Pirates! Band of Misfits, is an upcoming 3-D stop-motion animated film. Hugh Grant is the luxuriantly bearded Pirate Captain – a boundlessly enthusiastic, if somewhat less-than-successful, terror of the High Seas. With a rag-tag crew at his side (Martin Freeman, Brendan Gleeson, Russell Tovey, and Ashley Jensen), and seemingly blind to the impossible odds stacked against him, the Captain has one dream: to beat his bitter rivals Black Bellamy (Jeremy Piven) and Cutlass Liz (Salma Hayek) to the much coveted Pirate Of The Year Award. It's a quest that takes our heroes from the shores of exotic Blood Island to the foggy streets of Victorian London. Along the way they battle a diabolical queen (Imelda Staunton) and team up with a haplessly smitten young scientist (David Tennant).

Movie Review:- The Pirates! Band of Misfits also known as The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists  is an upcoming hollywood movie of 3D motion and full of animation which is produced by  Aardman Animations in the banner of Sony Pictures Animation. It is being directed by Peter Lord and co-directed by Jeff Newitt. The movie will be created with the same beautiful hand-crafted technique that Aardman brought to the feature films Wallace and Gromit in The Curse of the Were-Rabbit and Chicken Run.  The story follows the fortunes of a cheerful but hapless pirate band as they cross the seven seas in search of the thing pirates love best: adventure.

Direction, Dialogues and Music:- Although Defoe's witty screenplay overflows with gags for viewers who know a bit of history… ever wanted to see snobby Jane Austen throw a beer stein at poor Joseph Merrick, aka the Elephant Man.Matching the cheerfully anachronistic jokes in the script, the eclectic soundtrack choices add a contempo vibe with a mix of reggae classics and tunes by Supergrass and Flight of the Conchords.

Overall:- A delightful romp whose varied pleasures should please kids all along the age spectrum.
