Now, deodorants and aftershaves from KamaSutraNew Delhi : After establishing itself as a premium condom brand in India, KamaSutra Wednesday announced its foray into personal care products segment with deodorants and aftershave lotions to entice its consumers.
The products will be available in retail outlets of Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad and other big cities.
"We have conducted extensive market research and the response has been very encouraging. The brand is extremely popular and consumers have seen a connect with KamaSutra in its new form," Aniruddha Deshmukh, president, JK Ansell Ltd, which promotes the brand, said in a statement.
"We will leverage our existing distribution network in key markets to make the products available to consumers across the country," Deshmukh added.
The KamaSutra deodorants will be available in both men and women variants with fragrances like Spark, Dare and Urge for men and Provoke and Intention for women.
JK Ansell Ltd (JKAL) is a 50:50 joint venture between Raymond Ltd and Ansell International with the current turnover of around Rs.650 million.
KamaSutra also has presence in the markets of Middle East, Africa and eastern Europe.
